Colossians 1:18 says, "and He is the head of the body, the church." The word 'he' is used for Jesus Christ. He is head of the Church. Many times the bible says that Jesus is head of the church and the church is the body of Christ in the New Testament. Because the Church is the body of Christ, (See 1 Corinthians 12:27 and Ephesians 4:12) all Church members are playing the role of a different body part. For example, Can we see through the ear? Can we hear through the eyes? Can we talk with the skin? Can we smell through the tongue? No, it cannot be. Each body part has a specific function. In Pakistan, we aim to cultivate vibrant communities rooted in faith, where each member is empowered to contribute their unique gifts. Our church planting initiatives focus on establishing new congregations that reflect the diversity of God’s creation, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued. Through collaborative efforts, we aspire to nurture spiritual growth and foster a culture of love and service, embodying the essence of Christ’s teachings in every aspect of our work.
